Ickworth Estate Christmas Trail
National Trust - 2024
Inspired by the travels of their former resident Earl-Bishop’s Grand tour of the Continent we worked alongside National Trust Ickworth Estate and MJM Bespoke to create an engaging 9 piece trail called ‘Christmas on the Continent’. The trail follows explorations through 18th century Europe and includes hidden teasers from the Ickworth house collections. A playful trail sheet was also created, giving it an interactive quality.
Collaborating with Pickle Illustration on our Christmas on the Continent outdoor trail has been a truly fantastic experience. Throughout the whole process Lauren and Liv have been outstanding, approaching the project with enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and creativity from start to finish.
Each illustration beautifully captures Ickworth’s stories of travel and collecting, bringing moments from our history to life in an exciting and engaging way for our visitors. The colourful installations nestled in the woodland have been taking visitors of all ages on their own Christmas adventure, and it’s been delightful to see how our audiences have been engaging with the pieces.”Megan Cartwright
