B-Arts 2023

Working with arts organisation B-ARTS based in Stoke on Trent, we developed engaging and colourful illustrated window vinyls designs to fill their Library space. We gathered verbal insights through workshops and face to face interactions with Stokes local people, making sure to test the local foods of course (big love to H H Jackson’s sausage rolls and London Road Oatcakes!).

We interpreted these findings and channelled them into a design which celebrated the heritage, stories and people of Stoke in an accessible way using colours that were in-keeping with both the building and Stoke’s pottery heritage.

The design includes reference to Stoke’s rich Creative industries such as pottery, as well as it’s well loved and remembered market which is still a hotspot today. We worked with Alan, a local member of the public, who developed Haiku poems about Stoke which you can see feature within the design.
