RSC X Shakespeare Birthplace Trust - 2023

Working alongside The Royal Shakespeare Company and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust based in Stratford upon Avon we created 3D signposting illustrations sited over 3 locations to showcase poems prompted by QR codes.

The project was a collaboration with a Stratford-local journaling group responding to themes of nature, wellbeing and As You Like It. The group worked with a practitioner to write poetry which has been recorded and is available online here. It was great to create a signposting piece leading viewers to these poems, combining our illustrative skills with MJM Bespoke fabricating creativity that could be viewed from all angles, be sturdy and weatherproof (it has a secret underfloor stake system) and have punchy, bright colours which stand out against its natural surroundings.
